Companies looking to reduce the risks in software integration projects may turn to Amsphere to test their systems. The likes of BT and Hewlett Packard use the London company to cut the time, risk and cost of IT projects. This year Amsphere acquired Nexus Managed Solutions, a quality assurance and risk mitigation consultancy that focuses on the public sector. Amsphere was founded in 2002 when chief executive Ricky Shankar led a management buyout of a division of Rebus Technologies. The company’s sales have grown 67% a year from £2.3m in 2005 to £10.9m in 2008.
