Fast Track 100

TV programmes such as Masterchef, Come Dine with Me and the Gadget Show have featured products from this online kitchen equipment maker. Cousins Andrew Tomlinson, 42, and James Buckle, 41, started the company in 2005 after finding that the table-top grill they had seen at a dinner party wasn’t on sale in Britain. The Durham company now designs, patents and sells its products to countries around the world. It even provided vacuum pack equipment to Sir Ranulph Fiennes on an Antarctic expedition. Annualised sales of £17.5m have been achieved by retailing through the company’s own website and channels such as Amazon and eBay.
