Andrew Page says it became Britain’s second largest car parts distributor with 114 outlets following last year’s distressed acquisition of 21 branches of Unipart Automotive. In 2010, Phoenix Equity Partners bought the Leeds-based company for £100m, and last year Endless bought half its stake for an undisclosed sum. Sales under chairman Jim Sumner, 49, grew 37% to an annualised £173.2m, and he plans to double sales in the next three years.
