Customers use Surrey-based Aquilaheywood’s software to manage their own pension schemes or administer those of their clients. Chairman Finlay Ross and chief executive David Ackroyd launched the company in 1998 when they led a management buyout from the consultancy Watson Wyatt. Now its clients include BP, Norwich Union, ITV and Prudential. Sales have grown 42% a year from £13.2m in 2003 to £26.4m in 2005.
