Archant, founded in Norwich in 1845, claims to be the largest publisher of regional and local lifestyle magazines and associated digital media in Britain. It owns a range of specialist magazine titles and has extended its activities into exhibitions, events and digital media. The group is led by chief executive Jeff Henry, 56. As we went to press, the group reported sales declined to £109.4m and profits to £1.7m.
