Profit Track 100

This plant hire group was formed in 2015 when private equity firms Searchlight Capital and Duke Street led the buyout of Ipswich-based Fork Rent and combined it with London’s One Call Plant Hire. Since 2017 it has been led by Jeremy Fish, 55, who has invested more than £250 million in new construction equipment. This included making JCB’s largest-ever UK order for telescopic handlers, worth £75 million. The group now operates 11 depots with about 5,000 machines for hire. Profits reached £4.7 million in the year to March 2020.
