Building group Ardmore Construction recently won a £25m contract to transform Shepherd’s Bush Pavilion, a former cinema, into a four-star hotel, though its core work is residential. Clients include Barratt Homes and Crest Nicholson, and it is building 700 homes at the London Olympics site. The company is jointly owned and run by brothers Cormac and Patrick Byrne.
