Oliver Brendon, a former Florida travel representative, set up ATD in 2002 to sell tickets to British holidaymakers heading to the big theme parks in America, such as Disney World and Universal Studios. The London company offers tickets under two brands, Attraction Tickets Direct and Orlando Ticket Deals. It has recently launched a new brand, Dosomethingdifferent.com, selling holiday experiences and sightseeing tours around the world. They include cage-diving with sharks in Cape Town. Sales have grown 128% a year from an annualised £2.7m in 2003 to £32.4m in 2006.
