This London online music library holds a catalogue of 70,000 original music tracks and 50,000 sound effects licensed for films, television shows and advertisements. Founded in 2001 by chief executive Robert Hurst, 49, and chairman Andrew Sunnucks, 48, its customers include Disney and the BBC. It works with a network of over 500 composers and released almost 12,000 new tracks last year, helping profits grow to £5.9m. In July 2013, US private equity firm Stripes Group acquired a 27% stake for an undisclosed sum.
