Since it was set up in 2000, this Newbury, Berkshire, firm has grown by snapping up 16 smaller businesses. Azzurri provides IT solutions and managed services such as voice, data, consultancy, networking, print and mobile. Customers include HSBC, Tesco and Alliance Boots, and Azzurri says it services about 25% of the FTSE 100 companies as well as customers in more than 120 countries. Silverfleet Capital bought the firm from 3i in 2006 for £182m. Chairman Jim McKenna reported sales of £149.5m in 2009.
