Bartle Bogle Hegarty is responsible for the global advertising of many blue-chip clients including Unilever, Heineken, British Airways and Levi’s. The group has six offices, from New York to recent addition Mumbai, and has associated ventures including brand developer Zag, communications specialist BBH Retail, and music publishing consultancy Leap Music. Founded by John Bartle, Nigel Bogle and John Hegarty and led by chief executive Simon Sherwood, sales grew to £180.5m in 2007. In August the company made 10% of its employees redundant, as some clients cut their advertising spend.
