The re-invention of Bfinance from dotcom start-up to an adviser on fund-manager selection has fuelled growth for the London company. Institutional investors such as the Seventh Swedish National Pension Fund and West Midlands County Council are among its 100 clients in 15 different countries. Founder David Vafai added a Montreal office in the summer of 2005 to its operations in London, Paris and Munich. Backed by investors such as Netpartners and Carlyle Group, Bfinance raised its sales 76% a year from £1.1m in 2002 to £5.8m in 2005.
