Founded in 1995 by Peter Hutchinson, the company produces polyethylene terephthalate that can be used to make soft-drink bottles and has a role in the textile industry. Sales have risen 70% a year, from £4.7m in 1998 to £23.1m in 2001, when B&H employed 14 people.
