Offering products from clothing to light fittings and homewares, Sir Philip Green’s BHS remains a flagship of the British high-street after investing heavily in new stores and refurbishment. Sales from the 181 BHS shops rebounded to £873m in 2007 after dropping in the previous year as tough retail conditions took their toll. Green doesn’t expect things to improve much this year recently describing the retail environment as “horrible”.
