Biwater

With projects stretching from Panama to the Philippines, Biwater’s water treatment and design services affect millions of people. Its projects have included a plant that treats waste water for re-use on the edge of the deserts in Chile, and a series of water features for hotels such as the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Biwater also offers consultancy and design services, and holds a 58% stake in NYSE-listed water utility Cascal. Led by founder and chairman Adrian White, sales grew to £312.7m in 2008.
