Top Track 100

In 1983, when chairman John Bloor, 76, visited a derelict factory that had once produced motorcycles, he was hoping to buy a building site for his Derbyshirebased Bloor Homes. He ended up buying the Leicestershire motorbike brand Triumph. The bike brand and homebuilder, plus plant hire company Pickerings, make up Bloor Investments. In 2018, Bloor Homes still the largest part of the group, completed 3,250 houses, helping sales reach £1.5bn.
