Brand management company Brand Slam was founded in 2007 by Canadian Marcia Kilgore, 45. The London firm owns FitFlop, a footwear range worn by the likes of Michelle Obama, Chelsea Clinton and film director Sam Mendes. It also owns the Soap & Glory cosmetics brand, which is licensed to Boots and sold by beauty retailer Sephora across North America and Asia. The growing popularity of FitFlop in America helped overseas sales rise to £75.2m in 2012.
