Fast Track 100

BrandAlley is an online retailer that stocks premium fashion, home and beauty brands. Launched as a joint venture between BrandAlley France and News International in 2009, the company underwent a management buyout in 2013 and received investment from Chinese sales giant Vipshop in 2015. It is led by chairman Bruce MacInnes, 51, and chief executive Rob Feldmann, 51. Targeting affluent women and men aged over 30, it launches new flash sales every day to its UK members, each sale lasting a few days. Last year, the firm’s focus on customer service and online advertising, together with an expansion of its brand range, helped revenue reach £45.8m. In May, it bought the luxury online website Cocosa for a reported £1.5m.
