Founded in 2007 by James Watt and Martin Dickie, both 31, BrewDog is now the biggest independent brewer in Scotland. In June, it launched its third public fundraising round, named Equity for Punks, valuing it at £111m. So far, more than 7,000 people have invested a total of £3.5m. The funds will be used to increase production at its Ellon brewery, and to add to its 13 bars, with openings in Tokyo, Delhi, Sao Paulo, Brussels, Rome and Berlin. Sales hit £10.7m in 2012.
