Brew Dog says it is the largest Scottish independent brewery, with a core range of seven craft beers that can be bought in large grocery stores and online. The company also runs seven beer bars, and four more are in the works. Founded in 2007 by James Watt, 30, and Martin Dickie, 30, Brew Dog has raised two rounds of funding with its online Equity for Punks scheme and now has more than 7,000 shareholders. It opened a new production facility near Aberdeen in October to keep up with demand.
