Fast Track 100

Elliot Dawes, 34, and Adam Rossiter, 33, teamed up at Essex University and, with £6,000 borrowed from their parents, launched this sports nutrition business in 2006. The firm originally imported supplements from the US, before it switched to manufacturing in-house at its Colchester facility. Today the company stocks more than 1,000 supplements and healthy foods, including multivitamins, nut butters and whey protein. It sells directly to the consumer via 13 ecommerce sites and generates a third of sales from Europe. Turnover, excluding discontinued activities, reached £15.3m last year.
