This Reading manufacturer designs mobile and audio products for global brands such as Caterpillar and Kodak and is working on a bespoke smartphone for Land Rover. Backed by growth capital firm BGF, which invested £3.5m for a minority stake in 2012, Bullitt has offices in the US and China and sells to more than 50 countries, with overseas sales accounting for over 95% of the total 2015 turnover of £64.1m. Peter Stephens, 49, joined from Virgin Group as chief executive in January this year, working alongside co-founders Richard Wharton, 44, Colin Batt, 58, and David Floyd, 53.
