Buy.at has more than 200 clients, which target web-surfing shoppers by posting ads on the firm’s network of affiliate websites. It also enables schools and charities to create online shops. Founded in Newcastle, the company plans to open an American office this year and may also expand its services into continental Europe. The business is led by chief executive Kevin Cornils, who joined after DFJ Esprit invested £7.3m last year. Sales have soared 254% a year from £1m in 2004 to £13m in 2006.
