If you are looking for a smarter delivery system than the post, Oxfordshire-based Bybox may have the answer. It has developed a network of 14,000 lockers at petrol stations and supermarkets nationwide. Parcels are delivered to the lockers, which are then accessed by users through a keypad or a barcode reader. Headed by Stuart Miller and Dan Turner, Bybox says it delivers 3m parcels a year for clients including BSkyB and Coca-Cola, which use it for their field staff. Sales soared 156% a year from £1.9m in 2003 to £12.6m in 2005.
