With clients such as China Mobile and Danske Telecom, this Cambridge company designs and manufactures equipment used in mobile phone network base stations. It opened an office in Nigeria in 2010, where it is helping to build a mobile broadband network, and hopes to have a presence in Dubai by the end of this year. Last November, Cambridge Broadband Networks raised $16.5m (£10.5m) from shareholders, which include Samsung Ventures Europe. Chief executive Graham Peel oversaw sales growth of 71% a year from £5.6m in 2007 to £27.8m in 2010.
