Camden Motor Group

Founded in 1932 in north London, this group now has 22 dealerships in the Midlands and southeast England selling new and used Ford, Nissan, Renault and Vauxhall cars. It also offers corporate fleet services and runs three car supermarkets, trading as The Car Shop, in Cardiff, Manchester and Northampton, where Camden Motor Group is based. The company is led by chief executive Paul Dunkley and chief operating officer David Hammond, who are the principal shareholders. Sales reached £1,153m in 2006.
