More than 4,250 millionaires have won their fortunes through the National Lottery, which has also raised over £35bn for good causes since Camelot held the first draw in 1994. The Hertfordshire firm, owned by the Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, last year split into two divisions, one running the UK lottery under new chief executive Andy Duncan, 53, and another, led by Nigel Railton, 49, which is focusing solely on overseas opportunities.
