This specialist building contractor was founded in 1969 by chairman John Carey, 75, alongside brothers Tommy, 74, and Patrick, 72. The Wembley-based group of companies have been involved in big contracts including the new V&A Museum of Design in Dundee and the £300m remodelling of Selfridges in central London. Its specialist services include civil engineering, demolition, drylining and waste recovery — it also has a new homes division.
