Founded as a building contractor in 1969, the Carey Group now provides a wide range of construction services, including civil engineering, demolition and property development. Established and still run by John, Thomas and Patrick Carey, the group has recently been involved in projects such as an €11.3m Ikea site in Dublin and a Tesco supermarket on the Isle of Wight. It is also working on a number of projects for the 2012 Olympics. Sales at the company based in Wembley, London, reached £213.2m in 2008.
