Within three months of launching Centennial’s new software, Devicewall, in March, it accounted for 20% of sales. Devicewall helps to stop people from stealing company information through devices you plug into a computer, such as PDAs. Founded by Glenn Stephens and John Spinks, the Swindon company develops software that allows companies to track IT assets and protect against the installation of illegal software. The company says its systems are used in 43 countries by 2,500 customers, including Easyjet and Madrid City Council. Sales have grown 40% a year from £2.8m in 2002 to £5.5m in 2004.
