Appearing near the top of a list of online search results is proving a successful way of marketing goods and services to internet shoppers. The digital marketing agency Cheeze has developed software that helps clients such as Monarch Airlines and Axa to bid successfully for prime positions. Founded by Katherine Jerman and her husband Jamie Riddell, the Ipswich company recently launched a directory of blog and podcast advertising opportunities. Sales have grown 66% a year from £2.3m in 2003 to £6.4m in 2005.
