Chelsea Apps Factory helps blue-chip clients such as Ladbrokes, Standard Life and Waitrose make better use of mobile applications to cut costs. The company was founded in 2010 by Mike Anderson, 51, who was interested in how businesses could use emerging technology such as the iPad, launched the same year. The London company’s services include consultancy, coding, and helping speed up integration of apps with clients’ existing IT systems. It recorded sales of £5.3m in 2014.
