This premium drinks business was set in 2004 by brothers Christian and Kieron Barton, 35 and 39 respectively, with friend Gareth Whittle, 38, to sell a Peruvian beer Kieron had discovered on holiday. In 2008, the trio signed a deal with Swedish cider brand Rekorderlig to sell its products. The brand’s worldwide success pushed the Manchester firm’s international sales to £18.5m in 2013.
