Companies like Asda and Budweiser use City Refrigeration to manage and maintain their buildings and facilities. Former Celtic director Willie Haughey and his wife Susan set up this Glasgow company in 1985 to supply refrigeration services to the pub trade. In 1997 they decided to capitalise on the outsourcing trend, and the company has since expanded to achieve sales of £214.7m in 2003, when it employed 7,000 people.
