Top Track 100

Family-owned Clarks had already closed nine UK stores at the start of this year, when it was then forced to shut more than 1,500 sites across the world following the Covid-19 outbreak. Many have now reopened, but 15 will remain closed permanently. Its new chief executive, Giorgio Presca, 56, is restructuring the business, and in May, launched a strategy designed to turn around the 195-year-old retailer, which includes laying off 700 staff over the next two years.
