From New Look and Morrisons to Harvey Nichols and Prada, Clipper Logistics provides warehousing and transport for a varied selection of leading retail clients. The company looks after goods ranging from clothing to alcoholic drinks in its warehouses, and sends goods to department stores and retailers from its 28 distribution centres. It has recently expanded its operations with a new site in Yorkshire and the acquisition in December 2008 of Bestaendig Group, a German distributor. Under founder and chairman Steven Parkin, sales grew to £153.4m in 2008.
