CMO develops software to monitor health and safety, and risk and compliance, a market which it says is growing at 15% a year as regulation becomes more strict. The London company was founded in 2007 and counts Network Rail, Glencore and Shell among its 130 blue-chip customers. Inflexion Private Equity backed a management buyout in 2013, taking a majority stake for an undisclosed sum. Chief executive James Cotton, 38, saw sales reach £6.1m last year.
