This Loughborough firm, founded in 2006, makes hi-tech systems for signal processing which enable wireless communication for 4G networks and research into 5G. Its technology is used globally in niche and research telecoms projects, such as communications networks for planes, military installations and for testing mobile infrastructure. It specialises in hardware, but is branching out into software with the recent acquisition of German firm Mimoon for an undisclosed sum. The company hit £7.4m of sales last year, under managing director and co-founder Edward Young, 46.
