This firm started life as a telecoms recruitment agency, but the fastest-growing part of its business is a division that tests mobile-phone Sim cards, which contain a phone’s identity and store numbers. The work is done for industry giants such as Nokia. The Nottingham company was founded in 1996 by Russell Meakin and Anthony Gardiner. Its sales have risen 52% a year, from £2.8m in 1998 to £6.5m in 2000.
