COR designs software for two key financial areas – asset management and banking. It has a portfolio of
10 products, eight of which it acquired from other companies before developing them further.
It also succeeded in acquiring new customers with these deals, including Citibank and UBS, which has been the principal factor in boosting the company’s sales 120% a year from £1.9m in 2001 to £9.4m in 2003. However, Cor has yet to make a profit.
