Founded in 1780, London-based Corney & Barrow has a long history of selling fine and rare wines. It has exclusive distribution rights to many of the wines it sells and in 2010 set up an office in Hong Kong, its first overseas. The firm offers tastings and masterclasses to cater for the rising interest in wine in this part of the world as it becomes more prosperous. Under managing director Adam Brett-Smith and sales director Oliver Hartley, international sales grew 63% a year from £5.8m in 2009 to £15.3m in 2011, with Corney & Barrow-sourced Bordeaux a firm favourite with international buyers.
