Profit Track 100

Côte Restaurants was launched in 2007 by five of the founders of the Strada restaurant chain and now has 47 sites serving French brasserie-style dishes. Last September joint managing directors Harald Samuelsson, 45, and Alex Scrimgeour, 42, led a management buyout of the London group. The deal was backed by private equity firm CBPE, which took a majority stake, valuing the business at a reported £100m. Profits hit £10.7m in 2013.
