Founded in 1999 by university friends Richard Kirby, 41, and Anthony Jenking, 40, CR360 provides software for companies to manage their sustainability reporting. This ranges from helping Marks & Spencer to monitor its supply chain to building software that enables mining companies to collect data on health and safety. Funded solely by the founders, the firm now services 200 customers, including Heineken, British Airways and McDonald’s, from its headquarters in Cambridge and offices in Chicago and New Zealand. Sales hit £9.5m this year.
