Frustrated with spending thousands of pounds on ineffective beauty products, co-founders Alexia Inge, 42, and Jessica DeLuca, 44, set up Cult Beauty in 2008 to sell only make-up and skincare ranges that had passed a rigorous selection process. They were joined in 2011 by co-chief executive Murray Salmon, 48. Now also offering haircare, wellbeing and fragrance ranges, its social media campaigns have attracted customers worldwide, helping grow 2019 sales to £89m.
