Big retailers such as Tesco and Morrisons buy seafood and fresh fish from this company. Products range from prawn cocktails to Thai crab. In the past year the business has worked with Asda to launch a new range of products using king prawns from sustainable sources. A three-year reorganisation of its manufacturing facilities was completed in 2009, as was the sale of its smoke salmon business. Chairman and managing director Peter Vassallo founded the company in June 1997 on the Solway Firth. Sales reached £164.3m in 2010.
