Profit Track 100

CWB was founded in 1994 by Christiane Wuillamie, then an IT manager, after she failed to find consultants willing to share the risk of big IT projects with the client. London-based CWB does this by working to a fixed fee and deadline for financial clients such as Deutsche Bank and Credit Suisse Group. The company provides four types of service: consultancy, software, training and documentation, and managed services, in which the client outsources its IT function to CWB for as long as five years. Profits grew by 78% pa, from £941,000 in 1996 to £5.3m in 1999, largely because of sales growth of 85% pa over the same period to £19.3m.

This profile reflects the company at time of publication and does not reflect any changes that may have subsequently occurred. Fast Track and its sponsors do not endorse, guarantee or recommend investment in any of the companies.
