Almost half of this construction and engineering company’s £178m sales are generated in Africa, where its projects include a £100m contract to support iron ore mining in Sierra Leone. The other half comes from the UK, with clients such as Devon county council and the housebuilder St Modwen. Managing director Bob Jones, 62, and five colleagues set up the Swansea firm in 2002. Profits reached £19.9m in 2012.
