Claiming to be one of the biggest car dealerships in Wales and one of the largest employers in South Wales, CEM Day was founded in 1926 and remains family owned and run. It sells new and used Ford, Peugeot, Nissan, Fiat and Iveco vans and trucks. It also lets and leases cars and provides after-sales and accident repair services. The founder’s grandson Graham Day is chairman and chief executive in charge of the Swansea group’s 12 dealerships and oversaw sales of £155.5m in 2008.
