From 13 plants in North America, Europe and China, Deloro Stellite uses its cobalt and nickel superalloys to make powders, coatings and metal components to withstand extreme conditions. Its customers are drawn from the aerospace, power, oil, automotive and medical sectors. Duke Street Capital bought Deloro from Vision Capital in 2006, bringing in Hans Nilsson as chief executive. Sales reached £158.9m in 2007.
