Kevin Brown used the proceeds from a Madonna tour to co-found Affiliate Window with Andrew Totten in 2000. Brown had previously worked in online marketing for travel websites, organising tours to see pop bands. He saw the potential of web advertising and so created Affiliate Window, a firm that enables retailers to post ads on its network of affiliate websites. The London company works with 600 clients, including Tesco, Comet and B&Q. Its sales have soared 137% a year from £809,000 in 2003 to £4.6m.
